I am not familiar with terminal services. Is there some light reading you

can suggest to help get me started?

I need to set up a server for remote users to log into. I have an old

server that I thought I could use but I'm not sure how "big" the server needs

to be for 6 people to use it.

Is it program dependent? Our main app requires that each workstation be at

least a P4 1.8, with 1GB of RAM. I have a Dell PE2600 with a P4 2.6 and 1GB

of RAM. I guess my best question is how do I go about sizing the server for

terminal services?

Thanks for the help.

RE: Getting Started

I would like to answer the rest of your questions.

I recommend that you server have at the least 2 GB of ram. A decent size

hard drive. 80 GB and if you can, find yourself a dual core processor.

If your programs are resource intensive, and all of your users are in it at

the same time, this will come in handy.

This page is an easy reader and very helpful.
