NT Backup VSS Error

Hello,

 

I have two backup scripts that I run throughout the week, one is a nightly

and the other a weekly master. The weekly master had been running fine for

months and months, but recently has been returning this error:

 

Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:0x80042306

 

The odd part is, the nightly script that runs on thr week days runs fine and

does the same type of task as the weekly script but just backs up different

drives and data. The script files are in .js format. I figure if there was a

problem with VSS, then the nightly would not run correctly either. Any

suggestions as to what I can try to correct this issue?
