I have three domain controllers (server 2003) that I have configured as a

licensing server. When I open TS Licensing on DC1 all I see is DC1 and not

the other two DC's. On DC2 all I can see is DC2. On DC3 (different subnet

from DC1 and DC2) all I see is DC3 and DC1. What is wrong? DC1 is the

master operator and I would like to deactivate it as a LS server, but

deactivate is grayed out when I go to advance.

Re: licensing issue

AutoDiscovery of License Server depends on following,

- Mode of the License Server

- Where it is installed (Domain Controller or Domain Joined machine)

Way it works is, (in domain env)

- First it get list of License Servers published in catalog server

(License Server whose mode is "Enterprise")

- Second check if its Domain Controller is having License Server

- Third check host machine

In order to configure a License Server, you must be Administrator on the

machine where License Server is installed.

Loggin in DC1 machine, and then you should be able to configure License

Server.
