Is it possible to move TSRV2000 licences to TSRV2003?

Hello,

 

I have one Win2000 Terminal server with 10 CAL's. Old server will be

replaced by newer one with Win2003R2 OS and Terminal Services. Can I move my

10 old CAL's to W2003 Server? Or is the only option to buy more CAL's??

 

I read from manual that W2K SRV cannot act as a licensing server for Win2003

server. There's also a comment that it's possible, but not permitted to

install 2000 lic tokens to 2003...

Sure, no problem. You can even install them on a 2008 LS if you

want.
