Need help moving my licenses.

My current TS License server is an old 2003 box that needs to be

retired. At the time I set it up we were a 2000 domain. We are now

running a 2003 domain and I'd like to move those licenses to a domain

controller.

 

How do I do this?

1. Call Microsoft Clearinghouse, ask them you are planning to upgrade\move

your TSLS server; they will reissue you licenses; Make sure you have all

paper work related to purchase of licenses

2. Decommission the machine

3. Install TSLS on new machine ; Activate the License Server; Install Cals

using new keys Clearing house provided you;

4. Make sure your TS (Terminal Servers) are able to discovery new TSLS

(License Server)
