can a web service - with emotional underpinnings - like facebook - rival that of something with more technical/logical underpinnings - like office.

 

is the emotion of mac and linux users - cutting in to the technical merits (network effects) windows has always enjoyed? (technically better - but emotionally losing ground?)

 

Is it important to have a likeable ceo - or public face

 

is it better to have a technical one?* a showman?

 

what % is the perfect equation? - to a software product - and the ecosystem (company personality?) surrounding it?
