Hello, Im trying to connect my laptop to my internet via my wireless network.

I have shared the internet connection between my modem and LAN card so my desktop can connect to the internet via the router on the wireless. I have set up the network to have a static IP address as for some reason my laptop will not connect to the network if i leave it to find the IP automatically.

So i connect to the network on my laptop all ok, however i cannot connect to the internet yet i have 100% signal etc. I was wondering why this is the case.

Any ideas, im using the following equipment

Linksys WRV-200

Belkin LAN Card

Cable Modem

Advent LAptop with wireless built in
