Guest colleen Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I have a windows 2008 server and it intermittently loses connection. I have 2 NIC cards in it. I have disabled one nic card. I have noticed that if I changed netbt to restart on all errors, it seems to help. Most of the time when this happens, the only way to get connectivity back to it is to restart the server. I have had to restart the server during the day and there are at least 25 users attached to it at the time. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Re: windows 2008 server Hello Colleen, What do you mean with looses connection, please be more specific about this. Workstations to the domain or internet? Connection problems can occur when firewalls are setup and not configured properly or DNS is not configured correctly, for example, internal in a domain use internal DNS server only and configure forwarders. So please post also an unedited ipconfig /all from a client and the server here.
