Guest boe Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Hello, Occassionally I'll find a file that I can't delete even from the server console - even after I've rebooted and no one else is on the server. They aren't dll's or executables or anything being used - sometimes they are pictures, sometimes sounds - but I can't delete them. This is on a Win2k3 Server R2 SP2 Thanks

Thanks. Sometimes you can RENAME a locked file and then it will be removable after reboot.
