PROXY SETTINGS PER MACHINE rather than User

Recommended Posts

I have a Windows 2000 domain and all the client PC's are accessing internet

thru a valid proxy which was configured thru group policy. On a particular pc

I want to put a dummy proxy so that whoever login into this pc does not have

internet access. How do I do this? I tried the following 2 links which does

not work.

You can use loopback processing in a group policy object (that sets all the

user settings to the same thing no matter what) - I think you'd need to put

this machine in its own OU to make it apply. However, since you have a proxy

server, why can't you deny internet access to this machine at *that* level?
