Windows Server 2003 AD managed from XP Professional Workstations

Hello,

 

I currently look after IT for a large corporate and have been putting

together a good business case to move towards W2K8 AD.

 

The RSAT toolset only seems to work currently on W2K8 and Vista. I know XP

is essentially an old Operating System but our current corporate standard is

Windows XP SP2.

 

To get even the concept of a new "corporate standard" build of Vista at this

time (even for ICT) approved, not alone to construct a new standard / test

all our applications etc is not going to happen in the next year at least...

 

Is there any plans for a version of RSAT to come out for XP. Remember we are

in a corporate here so terminal servicing on to individual servers is not an

option.
