toms Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 hi I have HP Pavilion TX1308AU running vista 32bit OS actually, one day, my laptop don't want to boot. when I press power button, my laptop only show light indicators and nothing splash on the screen. But sometimes, when I hard reset it, it goes booting. it happens many times and I got stressed, yes :( I already check my disk for bad sector defragmented it update my OS and yes, sometimes it happens again one day, I tried to restore my OS using recovery disk supplied by HP and yes, everything goes normal (for a while) :mad: it happened again now sigh please help me! KenB Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Hi Toms and welcome to fpch. This could be related to the RAM. Locate the modules - they will be positioned under a panel on the underside of your machine - clean the connections with a pencil eraser and, if you have 2 modules, try it with just one. Your machine will run a little slower but I want to confirm if you have a problem with one of the modules. If you get the same problem, swap the modules over and try again.
