screen resolution

I'm having trouble understanding the screen resolutions in terminal

services.

 

The Terminal Server is 1024x768 which every client gets on their desktop but

some people need a smaller resolution (800x600).

 

I've tried setting the screen in the RDP dialogue but all that does is give

them a smaller window. They need to be full screen but 800x600. How can I

give them what they need?

The server setting allows you to force a maximum screen resolution.

The user is able to use a lower screen resolution by changing the resolution

in the Remote Desktop Client. Display Tab. You know this.

 

Well. The problem is that the RDC is not in full screen, right.

So on the Terminal Server the user want a lower screen resolution than on

the local client AND the Terminal Server session must be full screen.

 

This can not be done. The only way to have a full screen in this situation

is to lower the screen resolution on the client pc to 800x600.
