Guest allendard@gmail.com Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 I just discovered that I have a DNS name resolution issue on my network. When using remote desktop, I cannot connect via the remote client’s computer name, I can only connect via IP address. Which lead me to believe that it’s a DNS name resolution issue, the problem is that I have no clue on how to fix it. I am running Windows Sever 2003 SP3 with active directory and DNS.

Check the DNS whether it has: 192.168.0.15 client1 Hope this helps -- Jabez Gan Microsoft MVP: Windows Server http://www.msblog.org <allendard@gmail.com> wrote in message news:48942bbc-043b-4e5c-806c-0759aa3b2e6e@e67g2000hsa.googlegroups.com...
