Inplace server 2003 upgrade on 2 domain controllers

Hello, I am planning to upgrade 2 DC's running 2000 standard to 2003 standard

r2. These servers are the PDC and BDC of the domain and the only servers

still running windows 2000 left in the domain. I've been running in mixed

mode for a couple of years and have upgraded all other servers except for the

2 DC's.

 

What would be the best approach to upgrade these servers? Also, these

servers are running SQL 2000 will this upgrade impact SQL in anyway?
