Hi,

I am wondering if anyone can advise me the best way for the following

scenario. I would like to install a server solely for one application in a

data centre so that up to 50 users can access the one application via

terminal services.... is this possible and the best way to do this.

Do i need to have 2 servers, one as DC and one for the TS.

Please advise thanks in advance

Neil

Re: Advice

The best would be to have one server for domain, and one for TS if it

possible. But are you sure you will need DC for this TS? TS don't need

domain connect to work, and you will host one application on server.

YOu will need to calculate is it enough one server for all 50users,

regarding your app CPU and mem requirements.

1) Do not make it a DC when you install the OS (not recommended for TS by MS

either)

2) Do install Terminal Service when you install the OS

3) One TS may be adequate for 50 users as long as they are not all running

the same thing at the same time. I would probably start with one TS and add

more if the situation warrants.

Have phun...
