I have an old Tiny system but working fine, I have made a few adustments and now want to upgrade my graphics card(AGP). I am running Vista Ultimate with a Sempron 2800+ cpu, i have put 2 gig of memory in and I am about to upgrade to a 550 watt PSU from a 300 watt PSU.

My problem is which AGP to buy, I recently purchased an ati Radeon X1650 pro from ebay, it didnt work, now I dont know whether it is the PSU or the mobo that is the problem, I am not an avid pc gamer but I love Football Manager and Settlers and I want a card to do those games justice. Heres hoping you can help guys:)

You have wasted your money, it is pointless upgrading AGP graphics as even some of the budget PCIE cards are better than the highest end AGP

You should upgrade in a new MOBO and CPU/RAM etc before GPU

I know its not what you want to hear but any MOBO that uses AGP cards is old and not worth putting more money into
