TASK BAR.

As i understand it this bar can contain quick start buttons rather than goto home page then favorites. I have icons in the system tray, but nothing in the task bar, something i would find usefull. HOW do i get the icons i want into the task bar. Thanks.

Hi Johnxxx.Welcome to FPCH.:)

 

Right Click anywhere in the Task Bar,and uncheck "Lock the Task Bar"

Depress and hold down the right mouse button while you drag the icon to the Quick Launch toolbar section of the Task Bar

When you release the right mouse button, a short menu will appear

Choose "Create Shortcut(s) Here." An icon will be created in the Quick Launch toolbar on the Taskbar

Lock the Task Bar,again when finished.

DSTM. Unchecked lock the task bar. When i did the next bit no menu appeared? Off line till Friday. John.

Hi John.You use your Right mouse to drag the Icon down from tour Desktop.

Upon releasing the Right mouse button,a small menu will appear.

It doesn't if your using your Left Mouse Button.

Make sure 'Show Quick Launch' is ticked first.

 

(Right click taskbar. Left click properties)
