Guest K_L Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Hello, After installing another HBA-card I lost all my SCSI or HBA devices. I was installing HP MPIO for Eva 4000, when I got blue screen. I managed to restore my system to a ide hard disk. Now all my SCSI controllers say that "A driver for this device was not required, and has been disabled." if I check them from device management. Same if I try to reinstall drivers. Any idea what could cause this?

In this case I would like to advice you to contact HP EVA support to get your drivers to the supported levels rgds, Edwin.

They said that we should just disable MPIO. Didn't help and they had no more ideas. We are waiting answers from Qlogic and Fujitsu Siemens. Problem would be more simple if only Qlogic drivers would have stopped to work. But also LSI Mega Raid 320-1 stopped to work. With same problem. Only thing working is the IDE where we cloned the system from the MegaRaid.
