Hi,

I keep getting this error when I load my laptop but sometimes when I'm in the middle of something...

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium and an Advent laptop.

 

Thanks for any help you can give...

It could be a number of things. Incompatable hardware, bad memory, over heating, drivers.

 

Try removing any devices you have plugged in. Check your memory. Update drivers.

95% of the time its bad RAM

As Dalo said, a lot of times it can be the RAM or memory faulty, have you at any time installed any extra RAM? If so remove it and see if any change.

A google search seems to indicate that error is also memory related. If you have two sticks try using just one at a time. Otherwise try different or new memory.
