Installing apps while users logged in

Is there any special concerns of installing software on a terminal server

while people are logged in as long as you run "change user /install" first?

What is the Windows version of Terminal Services are you running?

In general, it is specific to the software you're installing, some software

may require you to close all instance of explorer before you can proceed,

others may require a reboot, the install process may fail etc. To prevent

any accidental lost of data, I would suggest to drain your server first.
