Guest kman Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 I have an odd issue. I have a Windows 2003 server I am using as a small print server. When I connect to it using \\server and then choose Printers and Faxes the window hangs for several minutes then finally populates. I do not have any issues printing from it just connecting to it remotely. Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks for any help. -- kman ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kman's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=47723 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=959184 http://forums.techarena.in

Guest kman Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 Re: Print Server Issue Thank you for your response. If I log in with either \\server or \\ipaddress, both open the window quickly but it is when I choose Printers and Faxes that it takes the long time to populate the window with the shared printers using both of these ways. -- kman ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kman's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=47723 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=959185 http://forums.techarena.in
