First: Is there work being done on the automation of computer systems where computer systems write and build them selves? Right now we humans ‘appear’ to hold the keys to the evolutionary track for computers. We seem to want to try and make them like our selves. But what if they were able to evolve for them selves? Are there people who actually work on this?

Second: Is it possible for a human mind and body to be used as an automated theorem prover? I can think of several situations where you would want to proof a decision in life where you would like to know if your decision or the line of code in life is going to work before running it. Take for example a war time scenario where you plug in all the numbers and strategy. Another situation is global warming, what is really happening to the world in relation to industrialization. You would wish to know the out come before running it (taking course of action) wouldn’t you. We have computer simulations that do this kind of stuff but what do we use when the simulation or the computer is not equipped to run an accurate simulation? Simulations into social variables that so far cant be predicted by a computer. Has there been any work done that incorporate the human mind to evaluate and surmise a situation that is to ‘complex’ for a computer model?
