rowlandsfc Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 ok i put a hardrive into a friends compaq min 700 which was said to be working just did not have a hard drive, the hard drive does not appear in bios checked the connection and it seems fine, the hard is a toshiba 60gb hard drive. any ideas? James10 Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Cant really tell, you know. how do you know it was working back then? who told you that? problem can be just anywhere inside :) you should try taking it to a laptop repair service - i'd dare to recommend you these guys, very helping, did a good job fixing my sister's eeePC after she spilled coffee on it lol :) btw, are you sure the hard drive itself is ok?
