SSL Cert for TS GATEWAY

We love RDP over SSL and are going to publish apps for production, but I

have a question about getting a SSL certificate for it. . .

 

Do I need two certs?

 

1 for TS GATEWAY

1 for TS WEB

 

Reading through the help file, it certainly looks like you would need two.

 

The intent is, to have published apps working as RDP over SSL and if

they want to get to a desktop they would go too,

https://ServerName/ts/en-US/Desktops.aspx or I guess they also go too,

https://ServerName/ts/en-US/default.aspx

It really depends on your SSL certificate. If you use a certificate with

SAN's (subject alternate names), also referred to as a Unified Communication

Certificate, you can put as many hostnames as you want on it. Then you can

use the same certificate for any matching host.

You can use any given certificate with any number of different services.

It's just a matter of configuring the hosts to use the same certificate.
