Dear All,

I'm trying to create a desktop shortcut to a network connection, i.e. one which when double-clicked will display the status of that connection.* Creating it manually is no problem, but I need to create it using a batch file or a vbs script.

The "helpful" target shown on the manually-created shortcut is {BA126ADB-2166-11D1-B1D0-00805FC1270E}, but I'm at a loss as to how this can be "attached" to a programatically-created shortcut.

This is probably very simple for most of you, but it's got me completely stumped!* Any help in this matter would be most appreciated.

Best regards,

Greg M
