either somebody missed april fools by a full month or the study was sampling vegetative patients :s

 

does anybody seriously believes those words? the bad things I hear about vista are almost exclusively coming from people who actually tried to use it and got rid of it after months of tribulation. most of the issues are caused by applications and drivers that are "vista compatible" only by name, like for instance the touted as vista compatible pinnacle studio 11 I bought a week ago that broke vista experience index updating (luckily the values were all 5.9s so I'm not missing anything for now :O), but you can't blame just the ecosystem when the cause of this mess is microsoft itself allowing vendors to put vista-compatible logos on all sorts of hardware and software without the proper testing.
