I have installed a network printer driver on my terminal server but the

problem is that every now & then the network printer shows offline & i have

to either restart the print spooler two times or restart my terminal server

to make it work again, i have tried reinstalling the printer driver but it

dont work.

I am using Terminal server of Windows 2003 & the Network printer of NRG.

Vendor and model of printer? I'm not familiar with "NRG". 99.99% of

printing problems on TS are due to printer drivers that are not TS

compatible.... HP, for example, has a list of printers and the drivers

supported under TS.

Hey,

I have the exact same issue right now... we're using a Konica Minolta Di450

and it keeps going "offline" to our terminal services.

Re: printer going offline every now & then

After doing some research... it looks like it could be a problem with having

SNMP enabled on the port but not the printer... does that sound right? could

that cause the printer to appear offline if it wasn't sending SNMP requests

to the server?
