Guest BI_Guy Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 System was working for years I was running SP4 Encountered startup problems, system stalled when booting. Able to recover with recovery console using original install disks. Keyboard recognized at recovery console. System now boots the login screen but keyboard and mouse are not recognized. I have tried PS/2 and USB keyboard/mouse without success. What should I do? Should I reinstall SP3 and SP4 can I do that from the recovery console?

Able to recover with recovery console using original install disks. Also check the event log, check Device Manager -- Regards, Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup.
