I tried connecting my pc to my television last night using a vga to scart cable. It would not detect it so I went into the control panel to see if i could do anything to solve the issue. The only thing I changed was that I ticked the "force tv detection" box. It needed to restart the pc, which it did and at that point the pc was still detecting the monitor. However I. Then tried again to connect to the tv and it still wouldnt connect. But now when i then my pc on when its connected back to the monitor it says "no signal". Computer is booting up fine (as far as i can tell!) Sometimes the windows loading screen will display but that's about as far as it gets. I would greatly appreciate help with this, as I need to be able to use my pc for work! Thank you!

HDMI (however many there are 1,2,3 etc)

SCART (again, however many there are)

etc etc

Intel Q6600 @ 4Ghz (Watercooled)

Asus P5K premium black pearl

I thought it would be fairly straightforward to connect my pc to my tv, but now I have more problems than when i started :( if anyone has any suggestions id be so grateful... if you need more info I can tell you whatever you need to know...thank you.
