SamuelCB Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Hi, I was just wondering if anybody knows of any working methods which allow you to turn your legal copy of WinXP Pro SP3 into a bootable USB drive which you can simply plug into your netbook and install XP just as if it was on the CD. Here is my situation. I currently have a cousin who is in the army and we recently sent him out a netbook for him to use while out in different countries. However when the netbook arrived it did not work with the current hardware they have out there because of something to do with it having windows CE embedded. So I have now bought a new legal copy of windows XP to send to him and install but he has no disk drive so it has to be on a USB stick. I have a 2GB USB stick so that is no problem. The catch is that the install MUST be just as it normally would be from disk as he is not that ICT literate! Thanks for any help! :) If you need further details then please e-mail me at address removed for security reasons Quote
