When I go to Control Panel>User Accounts there is a message:

"Client services for Netware had disabled the Welcome Screen and Fast

Switching...."

I cannot find any place to remove that services from my computer.

Any idea?

There will either be an entry in Add/Remove programs or you can

unbind the service from your Network adapter's properties. Left

Click "Client for Novell Netware" and click the Uninstall button.

Go back to Control Panel and double click Network Connections. In the Network

Connections folder, right click on your Local Area Connection. Select Properties

from the menu. On the General page, click Client Services for Netware to

highlight it. Hit the Uninstall button. Click OK. You may have to restart your

computer for the changes to take effect. You should now be able to set up Fast

User Switching.

Take a look at these articles for more info.

Novell provides this information.

Good luck

- Open a run command and type in:

Regedit click [Ok] and locate this key:

[-]HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

= locate this Dll and delete it "GinaDll"

Close the registry editor and reboot your system, any progress?

If you don't need the Novell Client to connect to a LAN:

Start > Network Connections > Right-click on the desired connection >

Properties > General > High-light the Client Services for Novell >

Uninstall.

Client Services for Netware is a protocol used for Novell Netware, an

early networking system that is, essentially, no longer used.

To remove it, go to Network Connections, right click on your Local Area

Network icon and select Properties.

On the General tab there will be a box under the heading "This

connection uses the following:"

Select "Client Services for Netware" and click Uninstall. OK your way out.

In that list, you should have only the following 4 entries:

Client for Microsoft Networks

QoS Packet Scheduler

File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks

Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

QoS and File and Printer Sharing are optional (although obviously you

won't be able to share files or printers without the latter).
