If they DO own the files they are deleting, then you should see available space on the network drive increasing. The Quota entries displayed on the disk properties may take a little time to reflect the change though.

You do understand what I mean by file ownership - the File properties, security tab, advanced button, owner tab.
Guest Jas Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Re: Windows 2003 Disk Quota Thanks Lee, but I am very CERTAIN the files were OWNED by him because I create the file under his login and I use my login account and deleted his 700MB file but quota is still say's 700MB it been 3weeks since I have deleted the file. Can anyone help me out on this.
