Guest Bryan Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 I'm looking for a complete set of the system sound files that came with Windows 98 (startup, shutdown, etc.) I know this a tall order, but would anyone mind emailing these WAV files to me? It's easy enough to do. The files can be found in the control panel >sounds. Just copy and paste them to a new folder, then zip....and send! If I can return the favor, let me know. I'm running Windows XP. Bryan Totalrod2 @ aol.com (remove space)
Guest Rick Chauvin Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Re: WAV files needed Those files of course are located in folder C:\WINDOWS\Media I emailed them to you. Rick oh ps, you do realize that even though you left a space out in your email on the post, but still you used your real email address when making your post which is contained within its properties, and so many of the internet spam bots will auto pick it up anyway.
