I recently (two days ago) installed a new hard drive in my PC, so now I have two. I figured out that I needed to format it in order for the PC to detect it; and I chose to do "dynamic" because... I don't know. It sounded like the right thing to do at the time.

Now my PC detects my new hard drive. I can access it and everything; but it is INCREDIBLY slow. Like, it takes about 5 minutes to transfer ONE megabyte of information to the new drive. It is infuriating.

Did I irreparably screw up my new drive? Is there anything that can be done? I would appreciate any advice SO much. Thanks.
