CES 2021: HP aims to appeal to consumers and remote workers with wide range of devices

COVID-19 has changed the way people live and work this past year, so much so that HP research has shown people in the U.S., U.K. and Japan using their personal PCs an additional seven hours a week. Photography, writing stories/articles and live streaming emerged as the top three activities.

HP has unveiled a lineup of Windows 10 devices at CES 2021 to help those spending more time on their devices pursuing creative and professional goals. With fingerprint readers and IR cameras, you can login via Windows Hello for increased security. [1] Battery life tested by HP using continuous FHD video playback, 1080p (1920x1080) resolution, 150 nits brightness, system audio level at 17%, player audio level at 100%, played full-screen from local storage, headphone attached, wireless on but not connected. Actual battery life will vary depending on configuration, and maximum capacity will naturally decrease with time and usage. [2] Multi-core is designed to improve performance of certain software products. Not all customers or software applications will necessarily benefit from use of this technology. Performance and clock frequency will vary depending on application workload and your hardware and software configurations. Intel’s numbering, branding and/or naming is not a measurement of higher performance. [3] Weight will vary by configuration. UHD panel or HP Sure View Reflect, 32GB memory base units, WWAN, 4-cell battery and 512GB SSD or higher not available on configurations starting at less than 1kg. Laptop speaker enclosure and display bezel components made with 5% ocean-bound plastic. [4] 100% outer box packaging made from sustainably sourced certified and recycled fibers. Fiber cushions made from 100% recycled wood fiber and organic material. Any plastic cushions are made from >90% recycled plastic.
