CES 2021: Acer refreshes gaming notebooks, introduces new monitors

At CES 2021, Acer announced updates to several Windows 10 gaming notebooks in its portfolio, including the Predator Triton 300 SE, Predator Helios 300 and Nitro 5. The company also introduced three new high refresh rate gaming monitors.

The Predator Triton 300 SE and Nitro 5 notebooks have been updated to include the latest 11th Gen Intel Core H35-series processors, while the Predator Triton 300 SE and Predator Helios 300 have been refreshed with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series Laptop GPUs — plus upgrades that include increased display refresh rates and better cooling technology. They're also compatible with Cortana. The 144 Hz refresh rate panel boasts a 1 ms response time for speedy frame rendering. It comes with HDMI 2.1 and a cable for hassle-free support for the latest gaming consoles at 4K UHD 120 Hz with VRR. The monitor has also achieved TÜV/Eyesafe certification and features Acer’s new Agile-Splendor IPS technology. The Nitro XV282K KV monitor will be available in North America and in Europe, Middle East and Africa in May 2021 starting at $899.99 and 949 euros; and in China in Feb 2021, starting at RMB 6,999.
