Troubles installing thru MSI on GPO

Hi everyone,

I have a domain with a Windows 2003 and a Windows XP inside a laboratory and

I'm testing the Software Instalation option on the domain policy. I'm

testing with the "User Profile Hive Cleanup Service", if you want to test it

with the same packet, you can download it on

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=1B286E6D-8912-4E18-B570-42470E2F3582&displaylang=en

Well... the trouble is that on the server, I put to make the installation

thru the user group policy, and when I start the user, nothing happends, but

on the sucess viewer I have the event ID. 308. says that "all the changes to

the software installation configuration where applied correctly" (it's not

exact, ok??? I have W2K3 Spanish), but as I told you before, nothing get

installed.

Thanks in advance,

Gregorio Aranda.

Gregorio,

I would try installing it through a Computer policy.
