Right click on a blank spot on the Toolbar | Properties | Customize. Locate

the "Speaker" icon and change the behavior to Always Show.

Sound Icon Missing

Hi:

In the past, there was Sound Icon sitting at the right bottom of System

Tray, but recently it's gone.

Sound-Icon is quite a handy because there is a handy feature, from 'mute' to

'loud' by just one click.

How to restore/rescue Sound Icon at the right bottom of System Tray?

Thanks for your help in advance.

RE: Sound Icon Missing

Control panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Volume tab, under Device volume

the box Place volume icon in the task should have a check mark.
