MSI wind specs almost definitive and confirmed june release date

finally the MSI wind release date has been announced however the models, prices (between 471$ and 1100$), specs and operating system will be different for each country :(

 

intel atom 1.0-1.6ghz CPU (only the 1.6ghz CPU is faster than the eee PC's 600mhz celeron)

1gb of ram

10'' 1024x600 led-backlit display

a full-size keyboard

80gb sata hard drive (that depending on the RPMs could be better than the eee's SSD) big enough to install vista or an optional SSD on more expensive models

wi-fi, lan, webcam, memory card reader

and last a rumored 7-hours battery life thanks to atom and the led-backlit display

 

with HP screwing up their 2133 UMPC the only contenders are now the eee 900 and the MSI wind. it's all a matter of prices now :|
