LJA Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I formatted my computer (I know I should have left it alone) and now I have no sound device , at least thats what it tells me . The motherboard is an ASUS P5VDC-MX 1.x/2.x I've tried looking on the web for a audio download but cant find anything . Any help would be appreciated . Quote
PseFrank Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Hi Lja, if you mean you've done a clean install of windows, then you should go to Windows Update and download all of the security updates that are offered. Start > All Programs > Windows Update You should also be given the opportunity to download Microsoft Update. Microsoft update gives you much the same as Windows update, but in addition will also update non microsoft programs installed on your computer. Note: To update windows, you must have a licenced copy of windows installed. Please let us know how you get on...
