PseFrank Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Hi Doug... If you feel that the screen message you are getting is genuine...then why not register with HP. I am sure that during the registration process you will have the option of not receiving emails from HP about their new products, etc. If however you feel that this message is not from HP, and may be malware of some kind, then please post back with more details as to why you don't want to register. Once you register, the screen messages will stop.. Quote I thought I knew today...I'll try again tomorrow. :) Need help with your computer problems? Then why not join Free PC Help. PseFrank Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Hi again Doug, I've just realised that your post along with my reply to it are in the Introductions forum. Just in case your problem is still unsolved I will move the thread to the Windows 2000 and XP forum, where it will get more attention. This is an oversight on my part...:o If any of the members have had the same experience as Doug, we would love to hear your ideas and opinions...:) Quote I thought I knew today...I'll try again tomorrow. :) Need help with your computer problems?
