Sebastian42 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Sometimes there is a mismatch between the webpage width and the screen width. Can that be adjusted by tweaking something in the (Page) Source (Code) ? Quote
RandyL Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Hi. When you view a page the width is determined by the source code that was written to display it. The only thing you can do personally is adjust your resolution or use your browser settings while on that page to increase or decrease the viewing size. In IE look to the lower right of your screen and increase or decrease the 100% setting. In Firefox click View>Zoom on the toolbar. If you are talking about pages you create then in the source code don't use absolutes for the sizes. Instead use percentages when you set widths. Quote We are all members helping other members. Sebastian42 Posted November 15, 2010 Author Posted November 15, 2010 My interest is in reducing the displayed width of webpages made by others, NOT by me. Thanks for the hints - I'll check them out Quote
