So I was browsing around and I found a site called cairoshell.com.

It is suppose to be a shell replacement for Vista, and it looks darn good!

The thing that got me was that are* using C# and WPF. After a bit of researching on how to create your own shell, I keep getting hits on how to extend the explorer shell, not what I was looking for. So how are they doing it with C#? Would you have to deal with unmanaged code, using PInvokes and stuff?
