Hi,

In Windows Server 2008 Terminal Services - RDC Client Vista..

I have a USB Printer. Which is visible in RDC connection when I logged into

my 2008 Server TS connection. When I give print, it says print is sent, but

nothing is coming out in my printer.

Printer : HP Laser Jet 1018 - USB

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,

Raghuveer.

Unfortunately, the HP LJ 1018 is not supported in a TS environment,

as documented here:

HP Printers Supported in Citrix MetaFrame Presentation and Terminal

Server Environments

objectID=c00213455

As a follow-up: are you using TS Easy Print?

Re: USB Printer - windows 2008 Terminal Server RDP Session.

Dear Vera,

thankyou. hp citrix document is helpful.

Yesterday I installed Windows Server 2008 and connecting cients through SSL

VPN 200 (sonicwall). At my place I have 1018 so, ts printing is ruled out.

I will go through easyprint process.

You mean to say, if I use easyprint 2008 feature, can I still able to print

to hp 1018 printer ?

Regards.

I can't guarantee that, but that's the idea behind EasyPrint.

Read the article, though, there are some client requirements, like

running rdp 6.1
