ron frew Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 My Acer Aspire 5542g running 64bit windows 7 has shown a slight graphic fault ever since I got it 11 months ago. When I am browsing I sometimes notice around 10 little coloured squares about 5 mm square formed in a chequerboard pattern and appearing at a random point on the screen. They disappear when I scroll up or down. I get them when using Explorer 8 or Firefox but I never get them when using Chrome. What is causing this, can anyone help me get rid of them? They are a distraction Quote
RandyL Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 If this has happened since you first got it I would contact the manufacturer. At eleven months old you may still have one month left of your warranty. That is if it is hardware related of course. Quote We are all members helping other members.
