2008 Licensing error

I purchased and installed 5 cals for Terminal service on Windows 2008.

I get an error saying:

Event ID: 8196: License Activation Scheduler (SLUINotify.dll) was not able

to automatically activate. Error code:

0x8007232B

In the details is says: the server if still running within the grace period.

When I generate a report, it says that my user CAL's are being used.

Any suggestions?

Do you get the same error when you first try to only activate the

LS?

Re: 2008 Licensing error

When I went through the activation process, it looked like everything was

fine. I steped through the wizard, added my authorization and licence

number and then it said that it was succesfully activated. I pulled up a

report and everything looked good. It was only afterwards I noticed this

happening.

Re: 2008 Licensing error

So the current status of the LS is "not activated"?

I'd use the telephone method to activate the LS and install the TS

CALs, or maybe phone Microsoft Support.
