hi guys =]

Just wondering if theres a way to get my resolution back to the said spec with the 260.99 nvidia driver. before i updated my driver, my screen was at 1920x1080 no problem whatsoever and was fine in-game too. after the update, i had to custom pick a resolution which is at 1728x1026. anything higher, it extends past the edge of the screen on all sides, anything smaller it just creates a black border around the edges instead of snapping to the screen borders. I'm using s video to component.

am i missing a setting or something that has been added in the later drivers?

thanks guys

Without opening my old machine I am a little vague about the precise wording but I should be close. Have you changed the resolution for your monitor itself by simply going to your desktop and right clicking on an empty part. Select properties and Screen resolution (In windows 7 ) in XP it may be labeled differently but the key is to get to the screen where the monitors show as numbered screens (1 & 2) set the resolution there and not in any card settings. The recommended resolution for your monitor should show there as well as a considerable number of choices.

yeah dude, i know where you mean, thats where im changing it. if i select any other res than my custom one, i have to go into nvidia control panel and change it with the adjust screen size option. (with the horizontal and vertical sliders) which is how i got the custom res, :/ its a bit of a **** ache tbh. cheers man

You could roll back the driver from device manager. System Restore might do the same thing.
