Shutdown Button Disable for Remote users with Full Desktop

Hi,

 

I wish to disable ShutDown button in a full desktop for remote users.

 

Any help is appreciated.

Ideally, if your terminal server is in a domain you should create a new group

policy to apply to your terminal server users in AD. It is also possible to

chagne the local security policy of a workgroup server using GPEDIT.MSC. In

either case, enable the policy located at: User Configuration -->

Administrative Templates --> Start Menu and Taskbar --> Remove and prevent

access to the Shut Down, Restart, Sleep and Hibernate commands. There are a

lot of other items on the start menu that can also be removed with this

method as you will see from the list in that location.
