TS 2008 license server credentials problem

I have a Server 2008 DC running with an activated LS with 40 User CALs

installed. I installed a new Server 2008 member server to the domain with

the Terminal Services role and it automatically discovers the DC for

licensing, however the Diagnostics indicate that the credentials are not

available to access the LS. When I try to provide credentials, it won't take

the username and password for the domain admin account and keeps popping up

the login dialog. What am I missing here?

(Note: I have a 2003 Server that is getting temporary device licenses from

this same LS without any configuration.)

Re: TS 2008 license server credentials problem

Sorry, I guess I failed to mention that I Googled this problem already and

found that same site link.

Problem/resolution 3 & 4 on that page deal with my issue, but do not address

what to do if the dialog box is repeatedly popped up instead of

authenticating my connection. I am logged in as the domain administrator as

recommended for use of the Licensing Diagnosis tool, but this does no good.

Again, I am re-entering the credentials under 'Provide Credentials' in this

tool, but it does not seem to take them. No error is presented.
